Captured Moment: A Shul on 12th Avenue
This week’s captured moment takes us to Boro Park’s lower avenues, and to one of Boro Park’s older Shuls, still thriving today.
Can our readers pinpoint the location?
Answer to the previous captured moment:
Morris Kulok was a philanthropist and the president of Congregation Beth El. His name is inscribed in the cornerstone of the shul on 15th Avenue, and he gave to various causes. He built this home on the corner of 15th Avenue and 55th Street—a grand edifice which is now slated for demolition.
