Answer to last week’s captured moment: 

Many of our readers correctly pointed at the houseware store on Fort Hamilton and 46th Street as the location of what was, in 1940, Excellent Sweet Shop. While there are a diminishing number of sweet shops today, back in the day, shops selling cigarettes and a variety of sweets were common all over Boro Park.
