Honda Recalls 330,000 Cars Over Mirror Issue, Includes Popular Odyssey

by YS Gold

The Honda car company is recalling a variety of its models currently on the road, totaling about 330,000 vehicles in all. The recall comes following the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) determined that the side-view mirrors are at risk of falling out due to the heating pads behind them not being bonded properly.

The recall covers a number of models, including the 2020-2022 Honda, Odyssey, which is widely common in Boro Park.

The car manufacturer will send out recall notices to all affected vehicle owners in early May. Owners will be advised to take their vehicles into the Honda dealership, where the mirrors will be repaired at no charge.

This recall is the second one this month for Honda.

Earlier this month, the company recalled half a million vehicles because the front seat belts may not latch properly. This is because the coating on the channel of the buckle can deteriorate over time. Honda said it has had no reports of injuries over this issue but would repair the seat belts at their dealerships.
