Legendary 13th Avenue Jeweler Closes Doors

For decades, shoppers on busy 13th Avenue were greeted by the site of the elderly proprietor of Weiss Jewelers tinkering with pieces of fine jewelry, using his special tools of his trade. 

Intently, with concentration, he would toy with the intricate pieces for his delighted customers. 

But this has now come to an end, as the “for rent” sign on the shuttered store that has gone up, from one day to the next, indicates. 

As they say, “all good things come to an end.”
