Thousands Will Gather at Bell Works as Daf Yomi Turns 100
As Klal Yisroel arrives at the milestone of the completion of half of Shas in the Daf Yomi cycle, we also find ourselves in the hundredth year since the institution of Daf Yomi by Rav Meir Shapiro in 1923 at the Knessiah Gedolah.
In honor of these momentous milestones, a mass celebration will be held at the enormous Bell Works in Holmdel, New Jersey. The event is organized by the Ki Heim Chayeinu initiative of Agudas Yisroel of America, which invites every single Yid to the celebration of the joy of Torah.
There will be joyous dancing and music lichvoid haTorah, where lomdim will have the opportunity to rejoice together.
Addresses will be heard from Rav Yeruchom Olshin, Rosh Yeshiva of Lakewood, and by Rav Noach Isaac Oelbaum, shlit”a, and a live hookup address will be given from Eretz Yisroel by Rav Shimon Galai, shlit”a.
During this time of elevation and inspiration, the thousands in attendance will also pour out their hearts on behalf of acheinu bnei Yisroel in Eretz Yisroel who find themselves in a terrible situation.
It is still not too late to get your tickets to this not-to-be missed event.
