BDE: Mrs. Esther Lefkowitz (Waldman), a”h

We regret to inform you of the passing of Mrs. Esther Lefkowitz (Waldman). She was 96 years of age. 

The nifteres was born in Krasna, Romania. Her father was Reb Yitzchok Eliyahu Grossman of that city. There, a lifelong connection was formed with the Krasna Rov, and the connection to the Krasna Rabbonim would last until the end of her life. 

She married Reb Shimon Waldman, who was niftar around the age of forty, and she remarried Reb Simcha Lefkowitz about forty-five years ago. 

She is remembered by her children and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren for her pure emunah peshutah, never complaining about any difficulties that may have come her way. She would always teach her descendants that we never question on Hashem, and we always accept everything with love.  

The Levaya will take place in front of the Krasna Shul, 4317 16th Avenue, at 10:00 this morning.
