BDE: R’ Tzvi Hersh Rub, z”l

We regret to inform you of the passing of Reb Tzvi Hersh Rub, a longtime Boro Park resident. He was 75 years of age.
The niftar was born in the town of Dubowa, in the Carpathian Mountains, to his father Reb Yitzchok, who was a shochet in the town. The family remained there for many years, and the children were raised with emunah peshutah.
Following his marriage in Selish, Reb Hershel made his way to Eretz Yisroel, living in Pardes Chana. The Rub’s later made their way to America, settling in Boro Park, where they owned and operated a grocery store beneath their home.
Reb Hershel was known for his ardent dedication to his davening and his shiurim, always conducting himself with extraordinary piety and the emunah peshutah that he was raised with.
The niftar was a mispalel in the Zidichoiver Shul as well as the Bucharester Shull.
The Levaya will take place at 11:00 at the Bucharester Shul, 5023 9th Avenue, and kevurah will be in the Floral Park Cemetery. To watch the Levaye live, click here.
