BDE: Reb Dovid Warman, z”l

We regret to inform you of the passing of Reb Dovid Warman, z”l, a scion of the Zidichoiver dynasty, and a descendant of the Nesivos Hamishpat. He was 90 years of age. 

He was the son of Reb Yischor Dov Warman (Labin), the son of Reb Moishele a rov in Drohobych. 

The family escaped to Eretz Yisroel in the early 1930’s, and Reb Berish received kabboloh for shechitah from Rav Avorhom Yitzchok Hakohen Kook. 

They later made their way to South America, where Reb Dovid married tb”lch Frieda Vogel. He served as an assistant Rabbi in South America before moving to the United States and settling in Boro Park. 

The niftar was known for his incredible eidelkeit, “adinas hanefesh,” said one family member. He is also remembered for his refinement as well as a burning ahavas Yisroel for every Yid. 

He was a longtime mispalel at the Agudas Yisroel of 18th Avenue in Boro Park. 

The Levaya took place at Shomrei Hadas at 11:00 this morning.
