BDE: Reb Moshe Wieder, z”l
We are saddened to inform you of the passing of Reb Moshe Wieder, z”l. he was 74.
His father was R’ Avrohom Yekusiel Wieder, an ardent Belzer chassid who survived the Holocaust, and through him and his children, they rebuilt what had been robbed.
Reb Moshe was a tremendous ba’al chessed. He owned buildings, and when the Pupa beis medrash experienced a fire, he gave them the use of prime real-estate space for a number of years, at no charge at all—and this was just one instance of the chessed and tzeddakah that he accomplished over his lifetime.
He married, tbl”ch, the former Penina Gelb
Among their children is his only son, a tremendous talmid chochom, who today resides in Eretz Yisroel, and delivered shiurim in Shomrei Shabbos for many years.
The levaya took place this morning at Shomrei Hadas, and the niftar will be laid to rest in the old cemetery in Teveria, alongside his parents, following a lifetime of Torah and chessed.
