BREAKING: TERROR IN BNEI BRAK: Four murdered in the streets of Bnei Brak

Horrifying news out of Bnei Brak this evening, Israel time, as reports comes of a gunman riding a motorcycle, unleashing a wave of terror on the streets of the ihr haTorah.

The gunman shot at one person in a car, two more in a store, and another one on the street—a method that made it extremely difficult to pursue him as he wove in and out of alleyways.

When he was finally neutralized, four had been confirmed dead, R”l, with a number of more in critical condition.

This attack comes on the heels of two other brutal attacks in other parts of the country in the month of the Muslim holiday of Ramadan, in which they have traditionally stepped up their rein of terror.

From all corners, the heartbreaking observation is being made that barely a week has elapsed since the passing of Rav Chaim, zt”l, and his ceaseless Torah learning that has certainly been a protection for the city’s residents.

“We have no one on whom rely, but on our Father in Heaven”!

UPDATE 2:40 PM:

Israeli media reported that the terror suspect is a 27-year-old from the town Jenin in the West Bank and worked in Bnei Brak illegally.

The terrorist, identified as Dia Hamarsha Ym"s, was jailed previously for half a year, Jpost reported. He entered Israel illegally.
