CATSKILLS: Possible Severe Weather This Afternoon

The National Weather Service has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Warning for this afternoon, and has extended it until 7:00 this evening. 

The severe weather is expected across a large area of upstate New York, including the counties of Ulster and Greene. 

There’s a warm front currently over our area, and a tropical jetstream coming from the south, making for severe weather. There will likely be thunderstorms, heavy rainfall at times, and possibly hail and damaging winds.
