Mayor-Elect Adams Names Multiple Rabbis to Transition Team

Mayor-elect Eric Adams announced on Friday afternoon his transition team that’ll help him ease into office come January 1st, included in the list are multiple Orthodox Jews hailing from Boro Park, Flatbush, Williamsburg and Crown Heights.

As part of the Clergy transition team, Rabbi Chanina Sperlin, Rabbi Moishe Indig, Rabbi Samuel Stern and Rabbi Yeruchim Silber were named, while Rabbi David Zweibel from Agudath Israel was named as a member of the Education team.

Joel Eisdorfer, a Boro Park resident and close confidant to the Mayor-elect, was named as a member of the Appointments and Public Safety & Justice teams. Eisdorfer was seen by Adams’ side throughout the primary season as well.
