The Governor's Traffic Safety Committee writes, "Speeding endangers not only the life of the speeder, but all people on the road around them. Proactive, equitable law enforcement is a primary weapon in curbing this deadly behavior."
There will be a second Speed Awareness Week beginning Monday, August 14.
