Uber Eats Driver Robbed By Two Masked Men Who Placed Order to Random Jewish Home
by Mindy Cohn
At 9:30 p.m., an Uber Eats driver arrived at a home between 16th and 17th Avenue and 42nd Street to deliver an order from a restaurant.
Upon arrival, he was accosted by two men in ski masks who had been lying in wait and robbed him at knifepoint.
When the NYPD arrived at the scene, they confirmed that the homeowner had not called for a food delivery and that, presumably, the masked bandits had placed the order themselves to rob the driver.
The NYPD's investigation is ongoing.
