DOT will Repave 16th Avenue Monday Night into Tuesday

The repaving work in Boro Park continues. 

Following work up and down 51st Street as well as a stretch of 12th Avenue, the Department of Transportation will be repaving 16th Avenue between 50th Street and 61st Street on Monday evening, as we reported here.

The work will take place from 8:00 in the evening on Monday until 5:00 in the morning on Tuesday, presumably to avoid the daytime traffic of busy 16th Avenue. 

There will be no parking during those hours, and violators will be towed.
