This afternoon, the news emerged that the venerated Kollel Toras Aish-Dushinsky has closed on the massive property situated at 4500 12th Avenue, on the corner of 45th Street and 12th Avenue.
The property has been the former home of the Yemenite Shul of Boro Park which has been torn down in recent years. In the ensuing years, steel beams have been erected on the site for an unknown builder.
Now comes the news that the Dushinsky institutions have acquired the property for the use of the Kollel. It will have one hundred and twenty seats in the main hall, with an enormous library of thousands of seforim, serving as a home where Torah will be learned on a high level as the Kollel goes on to produce morei hora’ah in Klal Yisroel.
