Weekly Weather: Storm on the Horizon

By: Yaker Biegeleisen

Another week, another similar pattern—except that this week, we are looking at snowfall midweek.

Following a cold Shabbos, temps rise again, with high 40’s/ low 50’s on Sunday. The same goes for Monday.

We are watching a storm approaching our area, set to reach us Monday evening. It will likely start as snow, going over to ice, then rain, and then back to snow. Temps will be in the mid-30’s, but it is hard to know how much accumulation we will get.

As things look right now, for New York City, we will most likely get a wintry mix, but temps will be too warm to get accumulation. However, since we are in a colder trend, it is possible that we will get a 1–3-inch coating.

As the week continues, temps in 30’s and 40’s at night.

We warm up to high 50’s Thursday, before we cool down for Shabbos.

We are watching another storm for next weekend, and we will be sure to keep our readers posted about it.
